‘Photogenic’

Interactive Website (2-Week Iteration) 


Photogenic is a study of how faces become workflows. 
Drawn from my experience in photo shoots and casting models, the project reconstructs the fast, mechanical process of judging faces — testing angles, lighting, and skin under strict standards of “camera readiness.” 
The work explores what it means to look photogenic when perfection is defined by procedure — when every face risks being seen not as a person, but as a file to be corrected.

‘Faces; Places’

Iteration 03 (4-Week  Publication) 



A three-booklet publication examining how public imagery becomes a primary entry point into cultural understanding. Across 153 collected faces—from media figures to everyday encounters—the project traces how identity, belonging, and perception are constructed through visual repetition and spatial context. By separating the archive into three interrelated volumes, the work reflects the layered process of adaptation: seeing, recognizing, and internalizing culture through faces before fully inhabiting the places they represent.

‘Compression’

1-Week Maquette


HK Compression is a one-week maquette exploring the psychological and spatial density of Hong Kong’s urban environment. Through layered visuals, tight cropping, stacked typography, and constrained layouts, the piece translates high-rise architecture, crowded streets, and limited personal space into a graphic language of pressure and proximity. Rather than presenting compression as purely negative, the project examines how density shapes emotion, behavior, and memory - revealing both suffocation and intensity as defining forces of the city’s lived experience.

‘NYC chaos’

Projection Installation 


A spatial study translating New York’s visual and psychological intensity into a projected environment. Through overlapping imagery, flashing typography, fragmented signage, and layered sound, the work amplifies the city’s constant motion and sensory overload. Rather than documenting chaos objectively, the projection reflects how the mind absorbs, filters, and reconstructs the city, turning urban noise, light, and speed into a subjective landscape of perception.
